Transitional Kitchen Design Washington DC
Transitional Kitchen Design Washington DC was custom crafted and designed by Michael Beidler of Trout Design Studio. This transitional design blends a functional kitchen space with a comfortable family room. By choosing an open kitchen design, the flow between eating and relaxing is seamless. The kitchen island and perimeter cabinets are crafted in inset/no bead style out of Hard Maple wood. They are finished in a cool-toned custom color match. Though this kitchen is small, there is still plenty of storage space. The custom kitchen cabinets strategically placed around the kitchen make up for the small space. Glass doors accent both sides of the range adding a decorative flair. Silver hardware makes the custom doors pop and ties in the stainless steel appliances.
In addition to the dishwasher, the island also has custom kitchen cabinets built in.
The long kitchen island has a built in sink and outlets installed on each end of the seating area.
Custom kitchen cabinets surround the range and the range hood.
Directly across from the range, the island has custom cabinet doors and drawers.

Design Inspiration:Transitional kitchens with an open design concept make for easy flow between rooms. Having a one-wall open kitchen design with an island makes for plenty of storage space, while permitting plenty of room.
